This is ideal as a ‘refresher course’ to maintain IMO2 Equivalent Certification.

Target Audience:
Designed for industry personnel involved in an organisation’s Incident Management Team (IMT)‚ including personnel with management experience who may manage Forward operations areas or Field teams.
You may also be eligible to join AMOSC’s Core Group through your member company upon successful completion. Contact your Core Group Supervisor or AMOSC for more information.
Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of oil spill response fundamentals.
- Execute specific roles and responsibilities within the core functions of an Incident Management Team.
- Collaborate effectively within complex, multi-agency, cross-jurisdictional oil spill response teams.
- Development and implement comprehensive Incident Action Plans.
- Evaluate real-time information and Oil Pollution Emergency Plans to deploy the correct strategies, equipment, and personnel.
Learning Methods:
- eLearning (~8 hours): Self-paced online prerequisite modules.
- Classroom Instruction (1 Day): Face-to-face theory at an AMOSC venue.
- Scenario Simulations (1 Day): Face-to-face practical exercises at an AMOSC venue.
